Sara Nale was with friends on the front porch at 300 L&N Railroad Bed Road in the Webster County community when a firearm accidentally discharged, the bullet striking her in the neck. When state police arrive, Nale was dead. No foul play is suspected, but the shooting remains under investigation. An autopsy was ordered.
The shooting happened at 1:30 a.m.
