Flags at half staff today

Kentucky flags at all state office buildings will be lowered to half-staff today, July 24, to honor a Fort Campbell soldier who died while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Sgt. Shaun M. Mittler, 32, of Austin, Texas, died July 10 in Konar, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit using a rocket-propelled grenade and small arms fire.
