Heading into the November election, Kentucky voters are far more focused
on the economy and jobs than any other issue, and a majority
disapproves of President Barack Obama's handling of foreign policy. The
latest Bluegrass Poll — released today — found that 54 percent of
registered voters cited the economy as the country's top issue, while 10
percent said health care, 9 percent foreign policy and 9 percent
immigration. Only 8 percent stressed taxes and spending, while 3 percent
said social issues and 2 percent energy.
