A Crittenden County woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in the county this morning.
Kentucky State Police investigated the collision that occurred around 10:40 a.m. on U.S. 60 about 2 miles east of Marion.
The preliminary investigation by Trooper First Class Darron Holliman revealed that Phelicity Yesh, 20, of Marion was operating a 2006 Dodge Charger eastbound on U.S. 60 when the vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and overturned, coming to a rest upright.
Yesh, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported via Crittenden County EMS to the Crittenden Health Systems for treatment. There were no passengers involved.
Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
