The absentee voting machine for the March 22 local option election in Marion is now available in County Clerk Carolyn Byford's office. Registered city voters who will be unable to cast a ballot in person on election day may request to vote absentee.
Byford's office is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
