Crittenden County Schools are on lockdown this morning, but law enforcement officials say there is no reason for parents to be concerned for the welfare of their children. There is no threat or imminent danger at the school.
Generally, when these type lock downs occur without any sort of outside or inside threat, it is related to a drug search. The school district has a contract with an outside firm that conducts periodic, unannounced searches on campus.
It appears this may be the case today.
