End of two front-pages stories cut off, shown here

Due to inadvertent technical errors in this week's print edition of The Crittenden Press, the last paragraph of two front-page stories was cut off in each. Below are the final two paragraphs of each story. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Tinsley acquitted by circuit jury
Thomas said he and the defendant were sorrowful for the family and friends of Glenda Tinsley.

"They had to hear things in this trial and see pictures that no family needs to see or hear," Thomas said. "The Tinsleys' hearts go out to Glenda and her family."

Courthouse goes on trial
Crittenden County Judge-Executive Perry Newcom questioned whether there is anything that can be done in the meantime to shore up security or to provide extra space, such as an annex.

"Nothing short of a new courthouse is going to solve your problem," Justice Cunningham conceded. However, he did recommend having a state assessment team come examine the security issues.
