Vernon "Cap" Stinnett, 92, of Dycusburg died Tuesday at Crittenden Hospital. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with Rev. Lonnie Knight and Bill Cunningham officiating. Interment will be in Dycusburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Alice Rushing Miller Hallum, 81, of Marion died today at Livingston Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Hanson, Ky. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
