The Rev. Maurice J. Tiell, 88, of Owensboro died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at the Carmel Home, an Owensboro nursing home. He at one time served as pastor of St. William Church in Marion. A funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at at noon on Tuesday at St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro with burial in Resurrection Cemetery on Owensboro. Visitation is from 2 to 7:30 p.m., Monday and from 9 a.m., to funeral time on Tuesday at St. Stephen Cathedral. Prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m., Monday at the church. Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Anita Guggenheim, 86, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and formerly of Marion died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at her home. Final interment will be a graveside service at 2 p.m., Thursday at Mapleview Cemetery. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of services.
