Area death

Lois Ann Ralston, 79, of Hobart, Ind., formerly of Marion, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at the VNA Hospice in Valparaiso, Ind. Services were held last Thursday at Caldwell Springs. Burns Funeral Home in Crown Point, Ind., was in charge of arrangements.
