Phillip Van Hooser, a nationally known motivational speaker, will be the featured guest at this week’s Crittenden County Chamber of Commerce quarterly luncheon sponsored by Farmers Bank and Trust Company.
Van Hooser, who lives in Princeton, has been sought for the past 20-plus years by companies large and small throughout the U.S. and around the globe to provide solutions for the leadership development issues their people face, according to his Web site. Van Hooser helps organizations achieve new levels of success and profitability through focused attention on developing their leaders, said Chris Cook, vice president at Farmers Bank.
Cook said the bank has made arrangements for the meal to include what’s being billed as a “Taste of Marion.” There will be ham, side dishes, breads and desserts from local restaurants and delis.
The event will be held at the newly dedicated First Cumberland Presbyterian Church Family Center. It will be the first public event held there. The event is at noon Thursday. Lunch is free. Cost of the luncheon is being underwritten by Farmers Bank.
