The Cave In Rock Ferry is closed due to high water on the Ohio River.
Based on the river forecast, the river is not likely to fall to operational levels until around April 24.
The ferry normally operates from 6:00 a.m. to 9:40 p.m., 7 days a week. The ferry carries about 500 vehicles across the Ohio River in an average day.
