Livingston County lifted its countywide burn ban early this week, but Crittenden County’s burn ban remains in effect.
The state wildfire season is also underway which makes it unlawful, even in Livingston County, to burn within 150 feet of a brushland or woodland during daylight hours from 6 a.m., to 6 p.m.
In Crittenden County, under the current burn ban, open fires are prohibited at any time, any where.
