Second candidate forum is Thursday

The second in a series of events designed to introduce the community to candidates for May's primary election will be held Thursday in Mattoon.

Crittenden County Judge-Executive Perry Newcom has organized forums in four Crittenden County locations to allow candidates the opportunity to address voters.

Thursday's event begins at 6 p.m., at the Mattoon Fire Department.
