Crittenden County's Lady Rocket softball team will play Caldwell County in today's Second Region semifinal game starting at 5:30pm at Hopkins Central High School.Caldwell (17-12) has beaten the Lady Rockets twice this season, 5-4 and 8-5. The Lady Tigers were runner-up to Madisonville in their district.
Crittenden (14-15) has won four of its last five games. The only loss during that run was to Caldwell late in regular season. CCHS is the Fifth District champion for just the third time ever and will be playing in the regional Final Four for only the second time.
Tickets to today's game will be available for cash at the gate.
