There might be a whole lot more water falling in the form of rain today, but the backwater from area rivers and streams is subsiding.
The county's long list of road closings is now much shorter. As of this morning, only Providence Road, Enon Church Road and Cool Springs Road remained under water.
Just a few days ago, that list included more than one dozen roads.
