Local leaders face big sewer dilemma

It really stinks, and everyone on the Marion City Council agrees that the dilemma they face over the sewer system is a complicated mess.

The Crittenden Press was at Monday night's council meeting and this week's full edition of the newspaper has a detailed article about how much more money local residents will have to pay on their water and sewer bills to assure Marion remains in compliance with Division of Water mandates.

There are no easy answers, and it's unclear which path will be taken.
