Remove the Risk; properly dispose of meds

Keeping opioids away from children and adults to whom they are not prescribed is the goal of the Remove the Risk program.

The Pennyroyal Center is involved in the campaign called Remove the Risk. Officials encourage all families to dispose of unused or unneeded opioids rather than keeping them in medicine cabinets where they can be obtained by people for whom they are not prescribed.

Visit FDA.gov/DrugDisposal to learn where you can take medications. There are several authorized disposal locations in the area.
