Crittenden County School District announced this afternoon that it's canceling school for the rest of the week due to road conditions and a looming forecast of more snow and cold temperatures.
Thursday will be another NTI day for students, but the district is planning what it calls "an old fashioned" snow day for Friday. Students will get a break from the virtual classes and Chromebook screens and are encouraged to get outdoors and enjoy the free time.
"Go sledding, have some hot chocolate and build a snowman or two, and we hope to see our in-person learners back next week," said school spokesperson Tiffany Blazina.
